Bodamská malina Žufánek je průtahový destilát z malin od Bodamského jezera! Malinový destilát existuje ve dvou podobách. Kvasný, tedy že cukr obsažený v ovoci zkvasí na alkohol, který se následně vydestiluje. A pak je průtahový, tedy že se maliny macerují v neutrálním lihu. Tím se získají veškeré aromatické a chuťové látky a výsledek se vydestiluje. Cílem geistů je získat chuť a vůni zdrojové suroviny. Nepotřebujete těžit alkohol, ten již máte.V jedom litru této Bodamské maliny jsou tři kilogramy malin odrůdy Glen Ample, které pocházejí od Bodamského jezera rozdělující Německo a Švýcarsko. V České republice se totiž v takovém množství a kvalitě bohužel nepěstují.

And the second, made as an infusion, where raspberries are macerated in a neutral spirit in order to draw out all aromas and flavours and the result is then distilled. The geists aim at acquiring the flavour and aroma of the source material. You don’t need to extract the spirit because you already have it. One litre of our Lake Constance Raspberry is made from three kilograms of Glen Ample raspberries. We have found this cultivar growing on the banks of Lake Constance, which is situated between Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Unfortunately, you can’t get these raspberries in a sufficient amount and quality anywhere in the Czech Republic
